Sue Toth, Vice President, Media

Sue Toth knows media. With more than 25 years of advertising experience behind her, she can analyze market research, crunch numbers and negotiate placements with the best in the industry. But for the past decade, Sue has focused much of her energy perfecting the subtle art of patient recruitment outreach strategies. While leading the patient recruitment team at media firm MRPP, she has developed campaigns for studies ranging from Asthma to Alzheimer’s to Breast Cancer to Migraines. As she learned more about patient recruitment with each successful study, Sue developed proprietary methodologies for the planning and buying of clinical recruitment media, including integrated internet solutions. This methodology increases the effectiveness of the patient targeting, thereby improving cost effectiveness and reducing recruitment time. This efficiency can speed delivery of a new drug to market, saving the pharmaceutical company precious time and hundreds of thousands of dollars.

A leader in the advertising community, Sue has been an active board member of the Raleigh-Durham chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) since 2001, serving as president 2007-2008, NC Governor 2008-2009 and was awarded the Silver Medal in 2009.  She’s been a member of the Medical Marketing Association, Capital Area Media Professionals (CAMP), as well as a mentor in the Deloitte & Touche Women’s Initiative External Role Model Program and a founding board member of  TIMA, the Triangle Interactive Marketing Association.
